Container size information:

If you choose to have your own trash container it needs to be no larger than a 32 gallon container or it is considered oversized. This ensures the safety of our drivers and the continuity of our trash service.

The size of trash cans to be lifted by our workers is limited to 32 gallons or less. This has everything to do with the weight of the can, crews are human. One of the most medically dangerous jobs in town is lifting those oversized containers by the hundreds every shift.
